WELCOME TO THE BEVERLEY AND EAST RIDING LAWN TENNIS CLUB WEBSITE!

 |
Beverley and East Riding Lawn Tennis Club was founded in 1880. The Seven Corners Lane site in the heart of Beverley provides year round tennis on seven all weather artificial grass courts.
Membership is currently 340, about half of whom are junior players.
Coaching is always available and is provided free to junior members for ten weeks each spring as part of our commitment to junior development.
The Club caters for all standards of play and time is reserved each week for social tennis.
Adults can sign up for coaching on a course planned for May 2009. Contact head coach Paul Holtby for details.
The Club is represented by thirteen teams playing in three local leaguesand has a mens doubles team who are the current champions of Division One of the Yorkshire League.
A number of social events take place during the year and have included quizzes, meals at local restaurants and treasure hunts.
Beverley and East Riding LTC is affiliated to the Lawn Tennis Association;in 2000, the East Riding of Yorkshire Council designated the Club as an Outstanding Junior Sports Club: the Club is a designated Community Amateur Sports Club and in 2004 it was recognised by the East Riding Club Accreditation Scheme.The Club achieved the prestigious national Clubmark accreditation in 2008.
